Last Thursday, the Year 5/6 Junior Barracudas Pathway students participated in the annual J’Maine Hopgood Cup in Hervey Bay. Our Junior Barracuda Pathway students competed in their first competition of the year, facing local schools in their quest for the Hopgood Cup.
With a very young side, our players were full of energy and excitement. They were eager to compete in their first game against Kawungan State School. It was a tough match, but our students demonstrated determination and spirit. Unfortunately, we lost 12 to 10, but this did not dampen their enthusiasm.
Overall, it was an exciting day for the Junior Barracuda Pathway students. They lost one game, had one draw, and won two games, narrowly missing the finals by half a point.
We are excited to see what our Junior Barracuda Pathway students can achieve in 2026!
