Both teams showcased the depth and strength of the program, producing an evenly matched contest filled with tough carries, physical defence, and plenty of commitment. From the opening exchanges, it was clear neither side was willing to give ground, with strong defensive sets and heavy contact featuring throughout the match.

Barracudas White showed great resilience and composure, matching Blue for much of the contest and applying consistent pressure. The intensity remained high as both teams traded momentum through the middle, with big defensive efforts and disciplined play keeping scoring opportunities tight.

Barracudas Blue finished the match strongly, capitalising on key moments late in the game to secure a narrow 12–8 victory. Their ability to maintain structure under pressure proved the difference in a high-quality and competitive encounter.
